There are 2 pivotal parts for teens and a number of smaller roles. One is a 15-year-old girl (so I'm seeing 14-16 year olds) and one is a 17/18 year-old guy (I'm seeing 17-20 year-olds for this part.) I've done a number of workshops in secondary schools pre-Christmas and will resume this process when the schools have re-opened I'm looking for a lot of adult non-professionals for this, so I'd appreciate it if you could pass on the word to whomever you think might be interested. People are welcome to contact me directly and I'll also be running open casting days as follows:
In Athlone in St. Kieran's Community Centre on the Saturday January 16th from 11am until 6pm. In Mullingar this coming Sunday, January 17th in Mullingar Arts Centre from 12pm until 7pm. Obviously, any parent of kids need to accompany them if they wish to meet outside the open days. It would of course be advantageous to people for me to see them in groups or individually outside the open day, as it's likely to be very busy. If you thought it would be worth my while coming down to see any of your teenage students, I could call down to the Dean Crowe tmw (Wed) evening.
